CSA!

Shares available for the 2013 season!

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is like a magazine subscription for vegetables. By becoming a member of our CSA, you will get a weekly supply of vegetables from mid-June through September. We offer two share sizes: a regular share (10 items per week) and a small share (5 items per week). Each week you choose the vegetables that you want to take home with you, via pick-up at Cobblestone Valley Farm in Preble, NY or at our host farm, the Northland Sheep Dairy.

How does it work?

At the beginning of each week, we will send you a CSA newsletter with news from the farm, recipes using our vegetables, and a list of the vegetables which are available that week. We will ask that you send us your requests (what you'd like in your share), at least 24 hours before your pickup. If we don't hear from you that week, we'll just harvest a nice share for you. The choice is yours--either you can pick what you want that week or you can be pleasantly surprised!

What's in a share?

Share items will vary with the season; for example radishes & spinach will be available in the early part of the season, while tomatoes will be available later on. Each week you'll get a mix of vegetables and herbs. Please see our What We Grow page for a list of what we'll grow this season.

When and where are the pickups?

We have two pickup locations this season. The first is at Cobblestone Valley Farm in Preble on Friday from 4-6 pm. The second is on our host farm, the Northland Sheep Dairy on Thursday from 4-6 pm.
